STORMING AHEAD

Comrades top five finisher and Nedbank elite athlete Gerda Steyn flew the South African flag high this weekend, smashing the Great North Run (GNR) in North East England in another Personal Best of 1:17:47. On top of this she finished 13th overall in the elite women's race.
 
The GNR is the largest half marathon in the world, taking place annually between Newcastle upon Tyne and South Shield

Defending champions David Manja and Kesa Molotsane will defend their titles at the ASA Cross Country Championships in Potchefstroom on Saturday.
